Lactiplantibacillus plantarum is a significant probiotic where it could be found in ubiquitous niches. In this study, new Lb. strain DY46 was isolated from traditional lactic-acid-fermented beverage called shalgam. The whole genome of the sequenced and obtained sequences were assembled into 3.32 Mb draft using PATRIC (3.6.8.). consists single circular chromosome 3,332,827 bp that predicted to carry 3219 genes, including 61 tRNA 2 rRNA operons. has GC content 44.3% includes 98 pseudogenes, 25 complete or partial transposases 3 intact prophages. genes encoding enzymes related EMP (Embden–Meyerhof–Parnas) PK (phosphoketolase) pathways BlastKOALA which an indicator having facultative heterofermentative pathways. also Pln E, F K showing antimicrobial potential bacterium can linked vitro antagonism tests inhibit S.enterica sv. Typhimurium ATCC14028, K. pneumonie ATCC13883, P. vulgaris ATCC8427. Moreover, determined all resistome its intrinsically originated tolerant acid bile concentrations by mimicking human gastrointestinal conditions. conclusion, L. promising appears have certain properties, confirmed “in vitro” silico” analyses, dietary supplement candidate may provide functional benefits host.
